James Ryan are you real ?

I always think that they look very dark dark bluish green on scans or even in person at casual glance. But under close look, or w/magnifier they are black. But for some reason the black on reprints looks ... blacker than the black on the real ones. I mainly go by the smaller area occupied by the back printing on the reprints.
