you are not alone...that is the way i think too, you have to...BUT, you could actually look at it this way too, the $1000 piece could be $833 plus the juice (to bring you to $1000)...if i am bidding in an auction like mastro's...i will determine ahead of time, what i think a piece is worth and how much i am willing to pay (TOTAL, including the juice), and i bid accordingly... |
