The fronts of the cards are in Fair to Very Good condition. the Weaver card is creased and has rounded corners and stains, and some scratches. She wants $200 for the album which includes a lot of non basbeball tobacco cards also. I've done immersion restoration many times on tobacco cards, but the glue or paste is thick on alot of the cards. it is literally oozed out around the borders of some of the cards. I'm going to offer her $75 cash and see what happens. The dealers around here are always complaining that they aren't making any money and the antique store competitiion is stiff in this little town. they call it the Antiques capital of the midwest. |
