Two e-mails, one cellphone call, no problem. My wife Jeannette and I spent a most enjoyable day visiting with Max Weder and his wife Jennifer Ettinger last week whilst visiting Beautiful British Columbia. Max has some amazingly cool stuff and it was just plain fun to poke around his library. It was also a treat to see Jennifer's baseball art. She got skills! The ultimate highlight was a chance to play a game of flipper baseball on Max's arcade game. Big Fun! Ate dinner at the Watermark Restaurant on Kitsilano Beach. Food was great. Restaurant was crowded, we ate on the patio which was, unfortunately, colder'n a witch's beltbuckle in Canada in January but, fortunately, my Elmer Fudd hat was OK by their dress code. They even supplied the blanket. |
