The more we talk about "fraudulent" cards in holders leading to the demise of the hobby, etc., the more likely this is to become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Whether this is an epidemic or not, it's going to be perceived as one and unfortunately, the unfounded panic may very well cause what we (you) all fear, a market crash of sorts.
