I have won many lots at most auction houses without reaching my final bid. With that being said it's too easy for someone to hit the "bid again" button to get to the one above your top bid. It's sort of human nature to do it sometimes (at least for me) so my opinion is that you have a better chance of getting topped that way...but that's only my opinion. You might find someone to bid for you the last day....(hopefully that you trust |
