Default Identifying "horizontal poses" in PCL issues.....

I was curious about what players appeared in horizontal poses from the various minor league and PCL issues out there. Many of these sets are so large and/or scarce, that many of us have never seen some of the cards in many of these sets. I began a small chart below based on what I know to this point. If anyone has information they would like to add, please feel free. Scans are always welcome too Thanks everyone.....

t210 - Walt Morris (series 3)

Hi Brian,

There is only one horizontal card in the T209-2 set, Presley (Pressley) and Pritchard. Oddly enough, the Presley and Pritchard card is the only two player card in the set. There are no horizontals in the T211 set as the set corresponds with the eighth series of the T210 set. The only horizontal in the T210 set is in the third series, Morris.

and of course T209, T210 and T211 are minor league issues, but not PCL.

It's not pre-war, but I couldn't resist posting one of my favorites horizontal poses. It's the only one in the two Mothers Cookies sets, as far as I can tell ...

I recall there is one in the Big Eater series.

There are also plenty in the Remar Bread series, but that is later.

Wow, that Morris card is special! You're right, I missed that on ebay this summer. Do you remember what it went for at auction? The 1913 McCarl looks suspiciously like the one I bought from Clean Sweep at a real bargain and paid for with Paypal, got a confirmation of sale email, only to get an email 4 days later telling me, "oh, gee whiz, we goofed it was already sold." Right....

Good catch Steve....I meant Baker but was thinking Bancroft for some reason since he's one of the money cards in that set.
