SATURDAY.....9 AM - 5 PM
SUNDAY........9 AM - 4 PM
Frank Howard is signing on Saturday and Jim "Mudcat" Grant on Sunday.
I have a Frank Howard story to relate to you....that every time I tell it, it really amazes me....6:7 tall, Frank was capable of
tremendous hitting power. And, the best example of this was one day back in the '60s at Yankee Stadium. He hit a line drive
so hard that Tony Kubek (at SS) leaped to catch it. The ball soared above Kubek's reach....and, hit the 457 ft. marker on the
left-centerfield wall on a fly.
I will reiterate....this was a soaring line drive that traveled over 460 feet....is that POWER....or what ?
Anyhow, Net54ers get off your duff and make the trip (ebay will still be there when you return home). There is nothing that
compares with real personal interaction with fellow collectors. Try to be there Friday evening, and you wont be disappointed.
I don't get it when I hear collectors say they could not find any good stuff.....but, then you find out that they did not get to
the show until Saturday afternoon.
And, contrary to recent "rumors"....the EPSCC Show has not been sold to other show promoters.
