Steve Novella's PSA 8 T206 Auctions--A Market Defining Event?

A PSA 8 of a common player over a slightly lesser graded card of a baseball legend like Cobb, Matty or CY?? You have to be joking. The PSA 8 only has value to a Registry addict. Give me the HOFer any day. Would you rather have a pre-owned Mercedes, not new, but in nice condition or a brand new "mint" KIA or Yugo???
