There were some nice snapshot photos of opening day in 1909 in Jacksonville, FL of a game between Savannah and Jville on ebay about a month ago. They were inside a photo album that had all kinds of historically important photos (Taft's inauguration, et cetera) I'm not even sure if the winner of the auction realized the significance of the baseball photos because none of the other items he bids on are baseball related and the ebay auction made no mention that Joe Jackson played for Savannah. |
