T207 Guys - Care to explain this closed auction

I bet the winning bidder couldn't believe that last snipe that drove the cards up from the mid 200's to the mid 400's. None of the cards are that tough except Hageman where a collector is trying to collect all the Hageman cards in existence so it drives his ebay price way up.
The old ebay adage, it takes two to tango or to drive a price beyond belief, seems to still be true...
