Lionel Carter and the Cavalry

For whatever reason I never pictured Lionel Carter as the combat type. The US supply juggernaut had not kicked into high gear by the time of the battles for New Guinea and New Britain, and the US and Japanese armies were on roughly equal terms. I have read that they were hellholes of annihilation. Mr. Carter might have quite a story to tell. Let's hope he will write both books. God bless him.
