As I define a baseball card, nothing after the 19th century qualifies. (Sorry Leon, you're selling the wrong century.) Also, with items 17 and 18, I intend to get them slabbed in order to qualify them as baseball cards.

It's ok...I am sure I will keep a few for old time memories (probably one you used to own).....it's only cardboard and yes it sucks selling stuff you love......But when you see something like the video I posted yesterday it puts what is important in perspective....Admitting I have an addiction was the first step ....take care....can't wait for the National when we can get together again.......

I'm surprised how much love post-war cards are getting from everybody. I'm particularly impressed with how many pre-war collectors mentioned 1956 and 1957 Topps cards, which I have always been a big fan of. Both sets scored just as high as the 1953 Bowman color set. It's also surprising to see Kellogg's, Donruss and Upper Deck cards on the list ...

(18) diffent issues, that define "Baseball Cards" what would they be, i.e. 1909-11 T206, 1952 Topps, etc. What I am looking for is the majority opinion on what are the (18) "staples" of the hobby. Not sure if these are 'staples', but they are my favorite sets because of the design of the cards and the players who appear in them. I might pick more sets from pre-WWI if I was more familiar with them. I would definitely not pick anything issued after 1969. In chronological order, they are:
