I too believe these could be a Wheaties issue. They have the look and feel of a Wheaties design to me. Wheaties had issued "cards" the previous two years on their individual size boxes of cereal--roughly this size, and Series 14 even looks similar in design to these, other than a small tab-like feature on the bottom. Wheaties was pretty innovative throughout the '30s. Who knows? |
