Anybody remember Stu Miller getting "blown off the mound" in Candlestick? In the first '61 All-Star game, I believe. Not a record, unless somebody measured how far he was snorted. Actually, of course, he was just called for a balk when the wind shoved him around a bit, and while giving up the go-ahead run, ended up winning the game on singles by three guys named Mays, Aaron and Clemente. Not bad support! |
