If they want new consignors they have to make sure all the old consignors come out whole. |

If consignors are out there who have yet to be paid, name them. I believe everyone was paid, late by a month but paid. If anyone has a name or wants to speak up, please do. I was one of the consignors and I was paid. It seems like this would be the place for an unpaid consignor to rant and rave and I've yet to see it...rumors and more rumors at this point. |

Matt-I read the thread. I read the "I know of others" claim. Im just saying, name them. Have them come on here and tell the stories, if they have a story. Having a lot of unpaid consignors when none of them are posting on here regarding it...doesn't seem plausible. All holy hell breaks loose on here regualrly when something as small as an overgraded card is sold, a misdated title in an auction listing. That's the great thing of this board, nothing is going to sneak by. If there are a lot of consignors who have yet to be paid, where are they? Why aren't they posting here? That's what I am asking. |

they figure posting on a chat board may not increase their chances of getting paid. If I was an unpaid consignor I wouldn't post about it until after I got paid. |

Its strange to me because when the rumors started, I had not been paid (was not late at that point). the first thing I did was pick up the phone and call everyone I knew who regularly consigned. I know of 8-10 in total. We all panicked for a couple of weeks. In the end, the panic was for nothing. I was paid, so was everyone else I knew. Two were 6 figure consignors, both were paid. I just haven't seen anything except for rumors. |

Mastro's situation has everything to do with bad and/or corrupt business practices and nothing to do with the economy. They'd been on borrowed time since the FBI named them as a target of a criminal investigation. |

However, that said since January 2009, we have acquired 12 different type card examples from BST and our other advertising. In each and every case the price we paid was at least 20% below the most recent price on VCP. That can only be explained by a drop in price in the baseball card market. |

What I hate about all of this is that there is apparently an "inner circle" of people who are able to get quicker shipping (from the Feb auction), returned phone calls, and returned emails. I can't get any of these. Legendary can remove me from their mailing list and save a few bucks on shipping catalogs. |
