| 1933 Goudey and 1934 Goudey

Posted By: Jimi Hi folks! I'm new to the group, and looking to get away from my newer collection in order to focus on my true love of pre-war cards. I am wanting any Goudeys in ANY condition (as long as it is hole and no writing on the front of the card unless it is a star card). I'd like to find someone who has a few of them to get me going with the collection if possible. I'm particularly interested in the 33 and 34 Goudeys. |

| 1933 Goudey and 1934 Goudey

Posted By: Glenn I'd recommend starting out with some commons if you're looking to collect the set, but if you're interested and have a chunk on money to invest, my Babe Ruth #144 (currently pictured on the "recent pick-ups" thread) is available for SMR value, $2500. Average closing price on ebay in the past year has been $2460 (plus S/H/I). |
