VCP has no pricing on these and only one photo. They are tough cards, although I recall one of them being in far more abundance that the other 12. I have heard they are pursued by collectors in other fields as well, not just baseball. |

I really liked that one in the auction and would be interested in buying one if anyone has one. I think that particular one might be fairly scarce. |

That particular Robinson Bond card is one of the rarer ones. It is the "Running To Catch Ball" pose. I do have one, it is a PSA 6, and I would have to be blown away by any offer to sell it. That one on eBay is the only other example of this card I've ever seen, even in the partial sets that have been offered through a couple big houses, and it is pretty tattered, and it still went cheap. |

If I am not mistaken, the Portrait With Auto was also alleged to have been distributed differently than the other cards in the set. |

That's a great card...thanks for sharing....here is my only D302.....When I showed it before there seemed to be more interest in the stamp on the front than the card itself.....and I doubt this one is fake.....it's so beat up:) ....best regards (sorry for the crappy scan) |

This 13 card set has really skyrocketed in the last 8-9 months. Just 2 years ago you could routinely get a nice PSA5 in the 300-400 dollar range. I'm afraid those days are over These are tough to find, especially compared to a 1948 Leaf, which is overpriced IMO.Check this auction for a PSA1 last December. Does anyone have a complete set to post?? |
