is a just a letter. Cross them to SGC and it magically disappears. I buy a card on appearance. Sure I would rather have a perfectly centered card but can be less discriminating depending on the total presentation (color, corners, registration, etc.) and the price. |

I'll take the 8OC anytime over a 5. Very few old cards were perfectly centered so it doesn't bother me in the least. I like sharp corners.

Wow, this thread is so old I was going to disagree until I realized I made the original post!
Anymore I just buy lower grade (2-5) cards so I really just go by eye appeal. I reserve the right to change my mind every two years...

This is another reason why I like SGC. Qualifiers seem to be nothing more than a grading "mulligan" to me.
