Not even a fable. In reviewing my notes I see I was mistaken about the black e100 though it does appear that a black e99 Hogan may in fact exist.

Default Not a myth
The E-99 Hogan with black background exists. Others from the same sheet were likely produced, but just haven't been confirmed...yet
