My first pickup's in quite some time as I have been fully devoted to obtaining as many deceased HOF Rookie Auto's as possible and they're all post-WWII era. On a little side note: if anyone has any deceased HOF RC Auto's PLEASE pm me, ok, here are my pickups

one for my HOF Rookie collection

and one HUGE one for my HOF Rookie Auto collection

Pretty damn close to being my favorite card! Thanks to Joey Simas for the up grade.

I would also like to congratulate Paul Griggs and Eric Eichelkraut on there recent Cobb pick ups.

Default 1933 Exhibit 4/1 with Grove, Cochrane, Foxx and Simmons...

I've been looking for this card for about 13 years... It is the last of the Grove 4/1 Exhibits that I needed...

Default T202 Wood/Speaker

Sean --

Nice pickup on that T202 of Wood/Speaker with the Close at Third middle panel. There are a few toughies in the T202 set for some reason or another, and that's one of them, at least in my experience. Everyone thinks the Birmingham card is tough because the ACC said so, but it's really not. The Cobb with the Desperate Slide for Third is, in my opinion, way harder than the other Cobbs, for instance. I'm not sure how they were printed, but it would be interesting to get in the time machine to check it out!

Take Care,
Geno

Default 1940's Eagle Hall of Fame Lefty Grove...

Here is another card for which I've been looking for several years... It was made in the 1940's... It is a 1940's Eagle Hall of Fame "card"... I say, "card", because it's on thick cardboard... It measures 9 1/4 by 11 1/4 inches... I had to scan the top and bottom separately and then fuse them together with software...

BTW.... Today is the 68th anniversary of Lefty's 300th (and final) win...
