I'm about 99% sure those back-to-back pics are out of the 1952 Dell Annual Baseball Facts & Figures book w/ the Stan Musial cover.

I sold my 1950-51- & 52 issues about a yr ago and I recognized them immediately.

Here is a listing for the issue w/ your 1951 pic. Each issue had 8-12 B&W pics of the previous yrs Stars & Award Winners.

Fred nailed it. Just checked my copy of the 1952 Dell Major League Baseball issue and Campy/Roe is the first page inside the cover.

A couple of different Brooklyn paper items. Any help identifying the other members of the original photo would be appreciated (Jackie Robinson, Walter O'Malley and Branch Rickey are the obvious).

Default Koufax

Ok so this isn't Brooklyn exactly.
Sandy Koufax pitching during 1986 Cracker Jack Old timers Game. I took this photo from the field level. I had a press pass that day. I also took home his uniform pants from that game.

I think it takes a big man to be proud of his tiny dog.

Default From a day at Dodgers Stadium a few years ago

A charity win that my brother in law had and he invited me to go along since I am the baseball maven in the family. That's me with Manny Mota, me with Don Newcombe and a 1961 Union Oil booklet that Vin Scully autographed for me. Newk also signed several cards for me and made a video greeting for my father, who was a Brooklyn Dodgers fanatic.

Here's a cool old Dodgers (well, technically "Superbas") celluloid mirror Heritage sold for $3100 and change back in 2005. I've never seen one since.

Default Let's resurrect this thread...

I started it in August of '09 and the last post we had was from Nov. 2010. Almost ALL of my Dodger stuff I had posted here has found new homes, and I rolled the funds from the stuff I sold into what's in my collection now. I'm sure that between all of what the new member's can show along with the Dodger pick-ups that the veterans have acquired over the last 18 months, there should be plenty of great stuff to show, so don't be shy!

You all know the story here with this iconic TYPE 1 photograph of Sandy Koufax as he manhandles the Yanks at the Stadium in the opening game of the 1963 Fall Classic. Koufax was on his way to a record breaking 15 K game that set the tone for the Dodgers to sweep the Bombers, effectively ending (for awhile anyways) New York's dominance in winning World Series titles dating back to 1923. The Bronx faithful would have to wait another 13 years before they could once again claim their place as champs of the Baseball World!

This is the only other Dodger piece I have left in my collection other than the 8 x 10 of Robby Stealing Home in the '55 Series - and a 9 panel sequential of the same play that I started the thread with almost three years ago!

Jimmy,
Very cool thread and some amazing items! I admit to being somewhat of a closet Dodger fan. Here are a some of my favorite pieces of Dodger memorabilia from my collection I haven't seen pictured yet. The Drysdale Spalding Advisory piece measures 11X14 and is printed on thin paper stock. I have never come across another similar example. I think it was a store display piece but cannot be certain. Any information anyone else has would be appreciated. The Drysdale photo is from his rookie year and the Robinson photo is from the 1956 tour of Japan. It is one of my favorites considering his relationship with his wife and that it was taken shortly before his retirement. Thanks Mike.
