Searching for a former collector

Anybody remember or know how to get into contact with a former collector named Jim Montgomery. I am fairly certain he was based out of Florida and had an impressive collection. I have a friend who is just finishing a book that Jim helped start him on and he really wants to get in touch with Jim about it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

Is this the same Jim Montgomery that used to be CEO if Great Western Savings? If so good luck getting him because he travels around in a big RV. I might be able to put you in touch with his son Michael he lives on the Big Island in Hawaii and owns a huge coffee plantation.

Jim sold his collection through Mastro in 2000 and left the hobby. I knew him pretty well back then, but haven't spoken to him in about ten years.

I know of whom Josh speaks and I believe that is the guy. Real generous as I recall, with a fab collection.

I totally forgot that he sold off his collection. I own a few pieces of it and some cards that he sent to me personally. He was extremely generous.

David-Peter Iverson is nearly done with his fiction book based on t-cards that Jim helped him start.

If I recall his company at one point was called JAMO or JAMCO.

One of my favorite cards - E106 Bender - was a gift from him. When graded 2 years ago, turned out to be the highest graded. He was very active in OBC - although nobody could ever send him anything he needed.

Had the pleasure of meeting him @ a Ft. Washington show. Watched him lay out a huge wad of cash for a Fatima premium.

Jim represented everything good about the hobby. Hope he is well.
