Jim.....let me state that i do not pick on anyone. Allow me to refresh your memory captain. The names you mentioned generally came on my threads hijacking them creating drama and when i fired back they got their panties in a uproar. Also please note that many things i stated came true but you forgot to mention that so allow me to refresh your memory.
1. Said Fla would cover and win the National Title GASP- It happened 2.Said Take the points with the Cardinals-GASP-They covered 3.Told the board of a filly i own that had no chance running at Charlestown because of her cuppy feet but watch out when i ship her because she can boogie and GASP- when i shipped her to Mountaineer park she went off at odds 29 to 1 and ran second by a nose GASP-the trifecta paid over a grand and the exacta paid almost 200 now i wonder how many times i had it ![]() she also paid 19.00 to place and almost 10.00 to show but i know you had no money one her because you were to busy looking in the mirror telling yourself how wonderful you are while dousing yourself with Old Spice. Also please note Jim i am not trying to fit into anything. I have pretty much seen it all and thoroughly enjoyed myself on the ride so far. I really do not feel that any of you attack me or do anything that harms me in anyway.
Twist it however you like Jim and i will leave you with this. It's your lie bro so tell it however you like

None of your points has anything to do with vintage baseball cards. That's the first problem. This is a vintage baseball card board and most of your posts are OT. Secondly, the people you pick fights with are well respected in the field of vintage baseball cards. For God's sakes, if you can't get along with Barry and Joann, you need to be in a room by yourself. There are plenty of guys here you can disagree with and be rude to and no one would care. You seem to only target the likable guys. Thirdly, your "personality" takes a little bit of getting used to... We're not there yet, and may never be. I respect the fact that you don't care, but you're rude and abrasive. Don't expect that aspect to win you any friends. |

Oh i understand it's a baseball card site but all work and no play is BORING. Out of 100 posts maybe 10% stray off into Off Topic which is always fun and breaks up the card talk.
Try going to a card show and then just sit there all day and talk baseball cards.....Ohhhhh...that's right you just like to sit and type on computers because i missed you at the National. I really do not have a problem with the folks you mentioned and i see your upset in the fact that when they hijacked my thread i basically fired back so you have twisted that into me picking on them but it is ok because they have meds for someone like yourself.....ummm....i believe the word is Haldol. |

You only missed me at the National because I avoided you.
I sat at the back table with Scott Brockleman, Rich Cline and his lovely wife and daughter, Coach Jeff, and Sean Skeffington and Brian Dwyer from SGC. From my seat you were up toward the podium and to my left, by the doors. You asked O' Keffee the stupid question about why he didn't write nice stories about families and little kids shopping at the show. (Sure. That's what investigative reporters do.) Our table had a very nice meal and a good visit. No one brought any noise. |

Avoided is the right word. Not a chance you would approach me because things are a bit different in person and i would have told you to F off if you would have started in so you knew that and just kept to yourself.
Also note you are wrong about the question i posed to O'Keefe but what else is new. I asked why talk about a trimmed card and negative topic at a Net54 dinner. I totally understand he has to write about drama for the paper because that is what sells but why talk about it at a dinner and especially to folks that already know the story of the card. The point i was trying to make is that the National is about dads bringing their kids to a show and buying cards for their sets or collectors buying type cards, the show is not about a 3 million dollar trimmed card that garners way to much attention or some hobknob reporter that nobody cares about. The other point i was trying to make is several dealers lost their ass at the National and the constant talk about trimmed cards and negative topics did not help. Alot of those dealers are going to skip next year so great work keep up the negative chatter and soon their will be no National. All of us on the inside know O'Keefe was physically removed by Bill Mastro from his office so he has a Napoloeon complex and has fixated himself on one card and one company. Also anyone who does not give him info he attacks and all you have to do is take one look at the guy and you know what he is all about. Last edited by Reginald Marsh; 08-31-2009 at 10:08 PM. |

One thing I like about this board, compared to another one thats not baseball collecting, that I visit, is the knowledge I gain, the cool stuff Ive seen, and people Ive met. Also, sold a couple small things.
That all said, I hope that these type of threads are NOT common, with bickering and people trying to disrupt things, as this thread really takes away from the reasons we are all here. |

Once again (and it happens often), I am confused. Reginald Marsh, the Marshmallow, or whatever you want to call him, posts for one reason and one reason only -- to cause everyone who reads his posts to respond. He's like a tick in that regard. For whatever reason, it appears that causing angst and anger is what gives him life. While I think that is more than a little pathetic, so be it.
My question is, by now people should know that he's a dick whose posts generally add nothing and almost always detract from the overall intelligence of the board. I view that as a given. Don Rickles he isn't. What he wants is what he often gets -- a response. Why do that? Everytime he says insulting or simply stupid stuff and gets a response, he validates himself. To those of you who he offends, I suggest that if you put him on ignore and do not respond to his prevocative comments anymore. He will then go away because his basic interest is in baiting people, not cards, and if there is no response the fun will no longer exist. My two cents. Are you still designing sun glasses bro? I actually do not post often on the main board unless i feel it necessary. Also i buy and sell quite a few cards but gee i do not see you auctioning or selling anything. Just me two cents for what it is worth.
