The O'Rourke CDV was lot #797 in the 1991 Sotheby's Copeland sale. The catalog notes that it is marked "Warren" on the reverse.
I believe that all of the images on these CDV's (except for Ryan, Gould and McVey who were not on the team) are the same that were used in the 1873 Boston team cabinet card that was produced by Richardson. Last edited by Baseball Rarities; 09-14-2009 at 01:40 PM. Reason: more information |
