Doesn't the king of cards answer his emails when he advertises a rare card for sale?

Default Kalamazoo Bat Team Cabinet

We have received over 20 inquiries. We have sent scans to each.
We are open to offers and have not set a price.

As for the comments from other Board Members, they were inappropriate and not necessary. The reason we did not respond on Sunday night and Monday was that they we were out of town working on a major consulting assignment for a US government agency.

This hobby is our hobby not our profession. Whilst we have built class baseball collection, our consulting business is our priority. Finally,
we do not appreciate cynical comments about our business or the fact that we have a home office. Thank you for your consideration in this matter

Barry,

All the times you've mentioned "No personal emails, please!" and now you have the nerve to make "cynical comments", just because someone DOESN'T send you a personal email.

Wow!

Edited to add: Perhaps he should have just said "No soup for you!"

I've decided to turn over a new leaf. I've given Bruce a hard time in the past, and I shouldn't.

I am going to start a new business venture. I will offer customer friendly translation services for Bruce, pro bono.

Here's the first one:

Barry, Ben, and everyone else,

Sorry I didn't get back to you guys as quickly as I should have. Right after I posted, I got caught up in a couple of things from work that tied me up for longer than expected.

I had many responses to my post and couldn't respond to any in a timely manner. I think I've caught up now and have scans and/or responses out to everyone who emailed. If I've missed you, I apologize. Please drop me a note and let me know.

Bruce D.

(Now, if only I can figure out an acceptable revenue stream from this new business, I am "In Like Flint.")

You may think that you are amusing, but we suggest you stick to your day
job (if you have one)

As we learned during our tenure at Wharton "free advice is worth what one
pays for it."

We would appreciate it if those who wish to comment stick to baseball cards.
However, for those who want to do battle, we are armed and ready...and we take no prisoners.

You had tenure at Wharton Bruce? What exactly does that mean?

I believe that means that Bruce attended the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. It is often considered to be the best business school in the country.

Not trying to be amusing at all, Bruce. I'm trying to keep you from pissing off Barry, who has been one of your longest and strongest supporters on this board. There was no reason to jump on him.

(Best I can do. Sorry, we are just a start up business.)

In his first season with the Padres in 1996, Rickey Henderson was once looking for a seat on the team bus and teammate Steve Finley said, "You have tenure, sit wherever you want." Rickey allegedly replied, "Ten years? Rickey's been playing at least 16, 17 years."

Obviously, Bruce spent a long time getting an undergraduate degree at one of the finest MBA schools in the country.
