Hmm, this sounds like a cool find. Looking forward to seeing it.
Wes, The T206s you're talking about are missing colors, but aren't black and white. They're yellow right? Never seen a black and white T206. Rob |

Rob,
Yes the T206 print scraps including the Plank look yellow. Also the Nadja missing the colors also had a yellowish tint. Wes |

Missed that Heritage Plank, but just tried to look at it. The scan is small since I don't have an account with them, but it does look white. Cool card.
Perhaps for a different thread, but the amount of printer's scrap for T206 Plank that I've seen (more than one missing colors) definitely adds to the mystique about why the card is so rare. Relatively rare that is. Looking forward to seeing this weird E93. Brian McQueen's grey E94 I believe demonstrates what happens when the cards from that issue are missing colors, but even that example is not black and white. If it's an E93, obviously the card should've been orange, so it must be missing everything. |

yea the cobb sounds pretty unique. after seeing kevin's work and the fake e94 OP in an SGC holder i'm anxious to see this cool card. if it has a solid history/provenance that'd make a cool hobby discovery. i'll get jim b. right on the case...

Hello everyone,
Our Auction Manager got back from SGC HQ right before I left home for the evening. I will try to get a scan tomorrow if our photographer is working this weekend. If not, definitely by Monday. SGC encapsulated the Cobb as an E93 Standard Caramel and underneath the name added the notation (Black & White, Blank Back) . The card was given the grade of SGC Authentic. From what I gather, SGC did not consider the Cobb a proof due to the absense of guide lines and it not being hand cut. Perhaps it's an early production? James |

Thanks for the update James. That sounds like a great card. SGC sounds like they labeled it the way it should be too (imo). I have never heard of another e93 with those characteristics. I have seen a card from another series that has similar characteristics though. SGC labeled it the same way.....Can't wait to see a scan. thanks again for sharing
