I posted this on the main forum....
but it belongs here too. The final game of the 1912 World Series, enjoyed by a crowd on Main Street in Colorado. No television, no radio - - - the score is updated on a box-score chalkboard. Unfortunately - the Red Sox win this one, and with that win the 1912 World Series.

It's only been 11 months since I got anything new...
These were your Boston Red Sox and Braves announcers in 1948 (slightly post-war, sorry). Of course, what made me buy this, for those who know me, is the mike stand...
