Mine's a mess. There were a dozen or so sets that I focused on, while also attempting to get one of each type. And then there was a while that I was trying for a card for each HOF player for the 20th and 19th centuries. I sold a few of the 19th century players, and when Carter and Puckett got in I got disgusted with 20th century HOFers, so I sold a few and held the rest.
I have a bunch of 2004 Albert Pujols Topps Heritage chrome cards, they're numbered 0001 to 1955. I confess to having more than my share of those. And in close proximity to those are a few Old Judges, bunches of caramel and tobacco cards, Baseball Magazine premiums, Diamond Matchbooks, team premiums from the 30s, a near set of 1967 Topps (the only set I'd completed as a kid, but Mom gave them away, she had good intentions). Cardinals Police sets, strip cards, ZeeNuts, T210 Blue Grass League series 6 cards, some Signature Rookie cards from the 90s... it is just a mess. My collecting aspirations go like this...I try to collect types and have a caramel run e90-E107...mostly complete...trying to finish a tobacco run t200-t217...but missing a few...I have a T206 backs collection which is 80% complete...I collect yankees cards of all kinds...ruth, gehrig, dimaggio, mantle...I have a babe ruth collection...with at least 1 card depicting him on each team he played for...I also have a HOF'er collection...but only the ones I like! I also have a yankee stadium postcard collection. Then I have about 50 other tobacco caramel cards that I just like. I have about 100 other types and oddballs from the early 1900's to the 50's...I have a 19th century collection 15 or so cards. I have a bread card collection. I have a minor league card collection. Then I have my more modern collection which consists of the 1000-2000 or so cards that survived my camaro selloff of 1986'. And lastly I collect the cards depicted in the 1975 topps set of mvp's from the 50's and 60's...for some reason these cards were so ingrained in my head as a child that they have become very desirable...to me! I'm very focused.

Considering the fact that at this very moment I have a T205, T207 and a 1972 Topps Fisk rookie card sitting on my desk, I'm going to have to say a collection of cards.

Actually both is true for me. I own a collection of Elmer Miller cards and a collection of E121 series of 80 and series of 120 Giants and Yankees. I also have a complete collection of topps cubs including all variations from 1951 to current. also a collection of t207 cubs.
