I think there are those in the hobby, the conspiracy theorists, that feel the T231(s) are not real cards. Personally I think Burdick pulled one over on us. They are figments of our imaginations.

Jeff- take a look at lot #467. It has a very respectable E98 Brown, graded a PSA 2 but with a beautiful front...plus a Cobb, Walsh, Evers, Chase, and 6 commons. And it went for less than just the E98 Brown in PSA 4. Makes no sense.

ted, I think the site is wrong and the totals do not reflect the buyers premium.

With an 18.5% buyer's premium, all final bids would be odd numbers. So the grand total with the juice is $187,585. I guess that's not too shabby.

The numbers I posted are from their auction site which claims to include the buyer's premium. For example......

"Final Bid(Includes Buyers Premium): $52,500.00"

The Web site is wrong, Ted. As of now, those final bids do not include the buyer's penalty. Unless the buyer's penalty last night was zero percent.
