Max- how did you like that copy of Touching Second signed by the team? I thought it was amazing.

I won the Clemente 63 peel off proof lot and the 1967 pinup proof lot. Thought the peel off's were a steal!

Thanks, Steve. It was the only thing I was bidding on also. That's why I strongly prefer the Legendary way of closing auction lots individually. I was able to get to sleep at around 12:50am EST instead of the usual 3:00am - 4:00am when I am participating in auctions that close their lots all at once.

Was surprised and thrilled to win this piece for the minimum bid amount. I actually liked it better than the other Cubs Paperweight they had, which sold for over $2 grand. Tough to find early figural pieces like this, that are new to the market... despite searching these things for over a decade, I had never seen one like this before.

Nice bat, Matt. You got a really good deal on it, considering that it has Hack's name in the side-writing. Mark |

Mark, the more I look at that snowball (I mean Cubs figural...ha ha) the more I like it. Very nice. I've never seen another and it will look great next to your other Cubs piece. Matt...WoooooooW! That is an amazing piece of hardware. I would be happy with a store model Hack. Congratulations! |
