My bad.
I mainly use the bottom etc. cropped info for the Gehrigs in the set. The most common reprints doctored. I should have worded it better. Obviously from your scans the bottom varies alot with different cards. I guess you should compare each players card separately as the design varries a bit. It is one of the few things I look at, but not the only spot. Thanks for pointing this out, now I know it is not 100% a fact that proves a reprint from the R320 set. The R319 reprints are easier ![]() In general, most reprints will have some or all of the edges of the photo cropped. Use google images to compare Example On this type of reprint (#61 below) the top edge of photo is the easiest to see (hat button cropped) ![]() reprint ![]() authentic This type, besides the off color the baserunners hand is chopped off.... ![]() reprint ![]() authentic |
