Seriously though, my 2009 pickups have been scant, but I think this is my favorite.

Default I like 'em big...

I like larger sized items like Police Gazette supplements, La Presse rotos, Blum's Bulletins, etc. I think my favorite pick up this past year may be this page from the NY Times in 1910. If anybody has the American League, I'm interested in buying it.

Picked up the final 4 cards in a set I've been chasing for 20 years. No other pick-ups mattered after that (Good thing, too, considering the price!)

Haven't all the great cards ended up in the hands of a great guy at one point or another? After all, if they don't have the cards in their hands how can they profit from shill bidding or other fraud?
