Being that some think that the century and decade began in the year 2000 (although many disagree), why not expand the thread to memorabilia pickup of the decade as well? I wonder for how many it would be the same item? Lordstan

Well, I started out doing 2009 and as you can see, Mark V. AKA Lordstan, talked me into going with the whole decade. But it's certainly not limited to just one favorite piece. Feel free to post all of your favs from the last ten years. Happy Holidays to all! Best, Jimmy

Here is my list of favorite items that i had picked up in the last 10 years. Sorry i dont have photos of some of the items. And i dont own the first 3 anymore.

1. Larry Berra game used bat from 1951-52
2. Mickey Mantle game-ready bat from 1965
3. Nap Lajoie porfessional model bat from 1905
4. 1926 Baseball photos
5.1926 Yankee Ball

I am very happy to say that we've had a lot of really great pickups over the past decade, but here is a recent batch of items that we acquired all on the same day....

found this amazing piece at an antique show in 2002 or 2003 while digging thru a box of advertising items.....price was $20.00.

as I approached the dealer / vendor with the item, I asked if they happened to have one in better condition (I do have my smart-ass tendencies) before I handed them the twenty dollar bill.
