Very cool program. I have a large vintage poster of the cover image. I'll try and post a photo Max |

Great programs, Jerrys. That'll certainly close the book on David's question on when those Falk photos were taken. |

Sorry - one more comment on Jerrys programs (and my 1904 Old Timers program). I'm always amazed when I see Mathewson's last name spelled incorrectly. In fact, on the 1904 program, his name is spelled as Christie Matthewson. Doubly wrong. This is also the case in my Sporting Life schedules. I can understand a misrepresentation of "Tesreau", for example, but Christy's name was everywhere - how could it go to print like that and not be edited beforehand? Maybe someone out there has the answer? Last edited by jacksons; 01-07-2010 at 09:50 AM. |

Hmm. I posted it here before, but I see that I used the ebay auction listing, which has now been removed. I'll have to take another photo of it. It's quite large--I would think about 24 x 30 or bigger. On the ebay listing, the artist was described as "Heyendecker", so perhaps the poster did not find its true ending price (at least by my snipe) Max |

Jeff, that Harvard/Yale program is absolutely gorgeous. You can't beat Leyendecker - no two ways about it. Now THAT'S an artist! Thanks for posting it...
