Default Is this T206 Fake?

Need some help with this card.. It feels thicker then a normal card would..and the back is curious.. on the back where all the very small lines should be, the ink is just glopped together... not a high priced card.. so it would be wierd for someone to go through this much effort for a fake.. also in pencil on the back it looks like the following is written "NO!" ... otherwise the card looks good.. any thoughts?

Default Nice card!

Unless it offends your moral sensibilities, I would get an art eraser from Staples and gently erase the pencil. Don't use a standard eraser! It is faint enough that there would probably be no trace of it.

Does the front have a gloss to it? It almost looks like a coating of some kind has been applied, which I guess might give it a thicker feel?

My guess is the card was kept in a humid environment or got wet at some point. That will thicken a card. Ever drop a paperback book in a pool (or a bathtub, or an ocean, or a sea, or a pond, or a river, or a billabong)? Same effect.

The only reason why cards don't thicken when collectors purposely soak them is because they then dry the cards between paper towels under pressure, ie with a weighted object, such as a heavy book, on top.

fakes are easy to spot (reprints). yours is authentic

The caption has never been reprinted correctly, either the font, spacing, or ink color is usually wrong
