Awesome card - I'll be lucky if I ever have a Gerhrig as nice as that in my '33 Goudey set.

Thanks for the input guys, I was pretty sure it was a good deal but I wanted to check.
By the way, has anyone noticed a value difference between the #92 and the #160 Gehrig? |

The #160 seems to carry a little more of a premium but it all depends on who is selling when, but I believe that the #160 is a little tougher to come by.

I agree - my understanding is that the #160 is the tougher card, but only slightly so.

Don't envy snow white borders, that just means the card has been cleaned up. Nice pickup.

I think you got a good deal. I paid significantly more for my SGC 80.
...not much difference grade wise between a 5.5 and a 6, ya know? BTW, I agree with the others that the #160 carries a touch of a price premium compared to the #92. |
