Thanks Craig. There is a tiny pinhole that someone thought would be a good idea to fill in, but I'll take that over a crease or corner wear any day.

I personally LOVE the E95.

Other beautiful/difficult Planks. Either of these, along with the E104's, would be the most similar to the T206 as they too have blue backgrounds:
D359 (Williams & Rochester Baking) T208 Fireside (this is probably the most expensive) |

One of the scarcest, next to the T208, would be the E104 w/nadja back.

It seems like to me the M116 Sporting Life or E95 are the least expensive route to a T206-like pose of Plank.
I have seen an SGC 70 M116 Sporting Life listed for $1250, and a PSA 7 for $2400. Any idea if these listings are anywhere near what these cards would go for at auction? |

VCP avgs. SGC70 = $921.00 PSA7 = $1265 If those are ebay BINs I imagine that they are a bargain!

The 1911 Diamond Gum Pins series also features the same Plank pose as the T206. Is it a Carl Horner portrait?

I'm thinking that rawoysterman could probably put you into these for under $20 though!

I would like a Ramly or E107 as well.

Leon - the E104 appears to be a different pose of Plank (albeit still a portrait). Last edited by Matt; 03-12-2010 at 04:38 PM. |

I was only going by what the original poster put in his post. To paraphrase- " So I've been looking into substitute cards with a similar pose. So far I've identified: E95 Philadelphia Caramel M116 Sporting Life E104 Nadja " kind regards LL edited to add that I understand "T206-like" was in the title. But I don't think that was the exact question, though it could have been, I guess

I think you're right - they did move the 'A' on the uniform over though.
