Yup, that's it.

In other news, still enjoying the book -- glad to see that others have received theirs, although I did find a few small errors in the text, but those seem inevitable in any large volume...

Default Deadball Stars

I'm with you, Hot Springs. Deadball Stars NL and AL are 2 of the best books I've ever bought. They aren't fancy coffee table books, but the cost is low & the content is fantastic! I don't need re-hashes of career stats. I want to read stories about the personalities, unusual experiences and backgrounds.

Default The T206 Collection book -- mine just arrived

Greetings all. I just received my copy yesterday. I just browsed through the book and a very nice presentation for each player in the set. I look forward to reading the book in the coming weeks. Nice Anniversary issue.

Currently stocked at most Barnes & Nobles store locations.
Cheaper online, but if you don't want to wait...

So, what is your review of the book?

Thru the grapevine, I heard it looks brillant.

Default I ordered mine...

....directly from the website, after this thread was started, and got it yesterday.

I really like it, but it could have done without the "PSA is the best in the world" gloss from Joe Orlando. Orlando's Introduction spends most of its ink on the PSA 8 Wagner, and then Orlando returns for Chapter 7.

But the research and layout and everything else about the rest of the book is really terrific. I read through it on my 45 minute train ride this morning, and learned something new about a lot of the T206 players. It really should be a part of anybody's collection if you collect T206 cards with any degree of seriousness.
