Nice Pickup Mark! I'd been tracking that Bottomley for several days and woke up confident that I'd pick it up...that is until Mark kept me preoccupied with a purchase/trade that pretty much took me out of the bidding. I'll have to remember that trick
I'm real happy with our deal though Mark!!

Mike,
That was my strategy all along. It's a two pronged approach. 1)Offer you something you couldn't pass up so you would not bid. Even though, I didn't know you wanted the Bottomley, it still works keeping you from bidding on anything : ) 2)Get you to send me the money you would've spent, so I can spend it. The items will be coming your way shortly. I hope you enjoy them. Best, Mark

Ah, the 'ol two pronged approach...that's the second time I've fallen for that this month! I swear, I've filled more holes in my collection in the last week then I had all last year.
Anyway, here's the deal....Mark gets to fill a hole in his signed Sports Mag collection by getting my Tommy Henrich and some cash considerations, and I get a 1925 TSN record book and a Mantle/Berra Sport Mag (signed by Mantle), which I will be sending away shortly after receiving it to Yogi to sign. Life is good!! |

Mike,
Man it's been a busy couple of weeks for me too. Glad I could help fuel your addiction. Mark
