Has anyone received their winnings from the SCP auction yet?

Not yet, but I have a UPS tracking # which says I should expect a July 1st delivery. It's coming from CA and I'm in KS.

Sent them a check on June 14 which was cashed on June 22. They wait ten business days for checks to clear so at this rate I don't expect my items to leave their premises until at least next week. This is BS and it's not the first time. After being reminded of Ryan's experience and the arrogant brush off given rdwyer I will not be giving them any more business.

not pointing a finger at scp, but in this day and age with electronic check clearing its total BS for any auction house to hold check for that long.

I received mine yesterday (6/28). From CA to NJ. I didn't want the package shipped UPS, so I asked them to ship via USPS. Came priority mail insured.

Edited to add: Paid via check, which I sent out on 6/13 and they cashed it on 6/21.

TBob, I got the July 1st delivery date as well. Mile High too. I sent personal checks. Never been able to tell that money orders, etc. speed anything up.

I've found that if you send your payment broken into multiple money orders you get your winnings faster.

It's minor dollars, but auction houses like to hold money as long as possible in their accounts earning interest.

Called today to check and was told that it would be sent tomorrow or Friday. It was on a "list to be sent out." Others might want to check their shipments also.
I guess the old days of sending a money order instead of a check to get immediate shipment are gone
