Probably won't be going to the National but I'd be willing to compensate somebody(s) well if they manage to pick up anything off of my wantlist for me.

1918 Zeenuts
1910 Eunc Orange Borders
1911 Baseball Bats
w517 minis
probably some other things....

If anyone's interested in keeping an eye out, shoot me an email. Thanks guys,

I'm new to the vintage market--any dealers I should really keep a look out for...or avoid...at the show?

Will- I have always had great experiences with Gary Nucherino at the Nationals. He has pre-war cards at decent prices and is willing to negotiate, especially if you buy multiple cards. There are several dealers who are very cordial and will deal with you, it's usually a "walk around, examine prices, see if the dealer will bend at all" situation which each collector has to find out for himself. I remember when I first started going to Nationals I just paid whatever the pronounced price was if I wanted a card but after hanging around with some of my Net 54 buddies and watching them haggle prices down, I started it a little myself and it paid off. Good luck and have fun! I think the best part of the National is not the cards but the comeraderie with fellow collectors.

Hey Dan- Yes I did and it's still some cards I really like. Actually I got 4 total cards from you that stayed in my collection, including the header card. I had no idea those 4 cards even existed before I saw them at your table. The D311 was just a one-off and was way cool....the others were legitimate cards but super scarce.

I guess I was thinking shut out on ACC cataloged cards.....but I love the ones I got from you. thanks again!! And just as much, or more, I go to the National to party and hang out with friends....

Default National Hopes and Dreams

This is my first national since Parsippany, NJ! What does eveyone think the odds of my finding a Delahanty Cabinet card? Okay then, how about a Roger Connor?

This is my first year back to vintage in like 2 decades. A baseball fanatic who is going for a T206 set amongst other stuff. If anyone wants to meet for one of those emoticon beers - I'm there.

Default Reds, Reds and more Reds!

Pre-War: I will be looking for a handful of Cincinnati Reds strip cards that I am missing.

Post-War: I will be looking for a 1949 Eureka Stamp #88 Ted Kluszewski (Anyone here have one?)

Shiny-Era: I will be looking for a box containing a Strasburg card that I can sell and buy a boatload of Cincinnati Reds T-205s and T-206s.
