I don't know gloves, but do know of two gentlemen that do, but don't know if they are on this board.
They do regularly check the ebay sports board though and respond to all glove questions. On the ebay boards they go by the names bretman and fungo. If you post over here I am sure that they will be able to provide you with al sors of info on the glove. If you post there, give them the best pictures that you can too.

Gloves
There is an organization called The Glove Collector, glovecollector.com, that is loaded with info about old gloves, including price guides, identification info, and contacts. I belong to a group of memorabilia collectors, many of whom are in Glove Collector and have extensive glove collections. I'd be happy to put you in contact with them.
