There are great glove source and reference books that folks here and on the glove site have acess to that will narrow down your search. To start - what is the name on the glove and is there a manufacturers tag, model number etc?

I do not see any tags on it at all, and I think there may be something else stamped into the leather near his name but I cannot make it out. It is very difficult to read. The writing is stamped near the bottom of the palm of the glove and at an angle going down from left to right
