During the 2000 and 2001 seasons, Keith McDonald of the St. Louis Cardinals had a total of 9 AB's, 7 AB's during the 2000 season and only 2 AB's during the 2001 season.
What is more impressive is that in the 2000 season, for the 7 AB's he had 3 hits, of which all were HR's. He did not have any hits during the 2001 season. As for baseball cards, according beckett.com he has 25 Major League cards and 14 minor league cards (could have the most cards for fewest MLB AB's?)
