Does pastime baseballs put some sort of marking on their reproductions for identification sake?

"Yes "RP" Everything says "replica 2010" on them. And if you can't tell the difference between a 100 year old ball and a brand new Rawlings then you've got issues of your own." Guess that sums it up. Great PR guy they have over there... Last edited by rp12367; 11-10-2010 at 04:26 PM. |

Aside from the terse answer, then I guess I have no real issue then. Sure I understand that "replica" language can be removed, or scuffed, or whatever - but I don't believe replicas should be outlawed so long as they are properly identified as such.

I think it's funny how only the response to the email was posted ,why not the whole email? How was this guy approached? He was called a clown in the first post, and sent a probably not too nice email that wasn't posted here for the members to see.

I wasn't the one who sent the email, but I was the one who called him a clown, and I do apologize to any clowns that are members here. I'll change that to an idiot. Surely there are no idiots on this board.
