Nice acquisition, Jimmy... no doubt about that one. A sure Malcolm Emmons original, and a terrific late-career image of the Mick. Poignant shot as well...
I won one lot, but it wasn't a photo. I thought long and hard about 7-8 of the photos, but couldn't pull the trigger on any (given the vague descriptions). I felt comfortable with a couple that were identified as Paul Thompson and Charles Conlon originals, but I could still see no remnants of any stamps on the backs. Plus, those that I was considering all went for close to $1,000, so the decision to pass on them was easy. I also loved the Cubs Team photo (posing with Team Mascot) that sold for $375. But it had a missing corner, and there was no way to tell if it was original or a re-strike. That one probably tempted me the most.. Last edited by perezfan; 11-19-2010 at 08:30 AM.
