Gleaned from American Lithographic's (ALC) records (dated Spring of 1911) is information indicating that ALC was printing their new gold-bordered
cards (T80 Military Men) by then. Also, they were mixing them with T206 BB cards in UZIT cigarette packs (at Factory #30 NYC). Each cigarette pack contained a T206 and a T80. Therefore, the reason why the UZIT T206's are very scarce is that these cards were produced at the tail-end of the T206 run (i.e., short-printed). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() TED Z |
