Default Yikes...

I thought the Cobb in my last auction was sweet...that is incredible.

Do we know the origin of this item?

I don't know the full story - wish I did. I do know that the original owner was a gentleman named S.P. Eboda. The current owner purchased it at some point during the 1970s from the family as a Wagner card for his T-206 set. The significance of the signature was not really the motivating factor at that time.

Wow!

Assuming the autograph is Wagner's, Jon you've just had the honor of breaking the biggest story of the year in our hobby.

If it were true, I can only imagine what Wagner thought/said when that card was presented to him to sign. Wow.
