2. Age- the big 4-0 3. Day Job- at the moment none, hoping to open a burrito tex mex joint in the next 3-4 years and until then perfect the recipes and watch the kids fulltime......... 4. Location- Glastonbury, Ct right between NYC and Boston recently moved here from Minneapolis 5. Collecting interest- Chief Bender 6. Family- wife, 6 yr old daughter, son turns 4 in a couple days 7. How long in hobby- got my first pack of hockey cards in 1978 and only a few years here and there of not collecting, really got into Chief Bender the past couple years. 8. Other interests- art and music, freshwater fish tanks, and now focused on tex mex americano food. 9. Do you attend shows? Age: 65 Work: Retired real estate broker and 35 years in commercial offset printing Location: Lawrence, Massachusetts Collecting Interests: Set collecting from 1953 - 1975. Need help with my 1963 set if you have something to trade I have some good stuff to trade. Thinking about a jump into pre-war but want to be sure. Family: Married for 46 years to my soul mate Sharon. 4 grown kids and 1 fantastic grand son. How long in the Hobby: Bought my first baseball cards in 1952. Had hundreds of stars from 52 - 58 and gave them all to my sister-laws little brother. Caught the collecting bug again in 1982. Started collecting cards of my youth in 84 and haven't stopped. Love set building. Other Interests: Church work and reading. Do you attend shows: Always make the Shriner's Wilmington,Ma. show and some local shows. Will be attending my first National that is held close to the East Coast. |

2. Age- 46 3. Management Consultant/Executive Coach - I help small to medium sized businesses grow. 4. Location- Essex County, NJ 5. Collecting interest- T206, though some day, maybe Cracker Jack cards 6. Family- wife of 15+ years, boys 11 and 10, and a 6-month old Golden 7. How long in hobby- re-discovered T206s about 3 months ago. I am now dealing with the addiction.... Collected when I was a kid and am now happily watching my kids go through them. 8. Other interests- Family stuff. NYC sports, lots of music (Wilco and lots of alt rock, Dylan and some classic rock, Springsteen always, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and whatever good hip hop / rap my kids listen to.) 9. Do you attend shows? Nope. Can't imagine that would work out well for my ability to continue to pay my mortgage.... |
